Calixto de la Torre
is an argentine architect and visual practitioner working between south america, the united states, and europe. his background in architecture and urban design shapes the way he thinks, observes, and constructs ideas across buildings, images, and drawings.
he has worked at OMA in rotterdam and Olson Kundig in seattle, contributing to cultural, civic, and residential projects at multiple scales and phases of development. these experiences strengthened his interest in architecture as both system and narrative, operating simultaneously at technical and conceptual levels.
alongside professional practice, he develops photographic and watercolor work as parallel investigations. his photography explores the city as a stage for human proximity and urban tension, while his watercolor practice reflects a search for synthesis, an effort to say more with less.
across all mediums, his work is driven by an interest in how space shapes interaction, perception, and collective experience.
